Feedback Loop was commissioned by Corridor Culture, an interdisciplinary arts collective, as part of the 4 part film series Public Domain Project.

Our cultural representations of affection, relationship difficulties, ambitions, and grief fit together in predictable and homogeneous ways. Video games seem to offer more simplistic depictions than cinema, existing purely for functional purposes of activity within a framework. However, when viewing the two together, it seems that cinema is merely a more complex and convoluted iteration of the same elements. Feedback Loop uses found footage from video games and movies to explore these ideas.
