Welcome! My name is Nelly Matorina and I’m a cognitive neuroscience PhD candidate at the University of Toronto working with Dr. Morgan Barense and an artist working across video and installation.
I hold a FAST (Faculty of Arts and Sciences Top Doctoral) Fellowship, an NSERC PGS-D, and am a Junior Fellow at Massey College. Before joining the Memory and Perception Lab, I completed my B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Psychology at Queen’s University.
My current work explores the role of sleep and dreaming in the consolidation of naturalistic and autobiographical memories.
